Wearable Wednesday-Natural Everyday Makeup Look

Salam and hello dearies!I'm a makeup addict. I admit it. I spend hours upon hours flipping through magazines, watching tutorials on YouTube, wandering the beauty aisles at the drug store… and the list goes on. I absolutely LOVE doing makeup. Its not everyday is a bold lips day for me.I do love natural and subtle makeup too.So today I will share with you how I like my natural everyday makeup to be.Because it’s a natural eye make-up look don’t expect something dramatic.I love this look because it’s very natural, but at the same time brings out the best of my almond shape eyes.To achieve a good result when you do your eye makeup, you should understand your eye shape.Different eye shape need a different approach.I believe onve you master the key you won't need the exspensive brushes to do perfect eye makeup.Sometimes you will end up feeling frustrated and wondering why the results were not same as the tutorial you watched. The reason is because the beauty gurus and yours eye shapes are completely different. No fret,I will explain to you more about this in the next post. The only major problem I've encountered when I did this makeup was I bought a wrong shade of foundation.Borjois happy light foundation N54 Beige is a bit dark for my olive complexion.I guess I have to figure out how to make it works better next time. And what can I say more about RCMB 225 Sultry,I just love it very much.My whole face changes with it, so now it's a part of my daily staple. For a more natural look brown eyeliner is definitely a better option than a  super black eyeliner.Black can be too harsh if you want something softer!!

Mini Illamasqua Haul

Salam and hello lovelies!I’m back! Sorry for the short hiatus, personal issues sometimes get in the way of blogging but I’m back now and have lots planned.Few weeks ago,as soon as I got email from Illamasqua that they are having massive sale on their website I desperately wanted to get my hands on their blushes. They are one of the most raved about products of their brand and it's easy to see why. They are easy to apply, long lasting and super pigmented. You can check the sale HERE ,it's still going on.I decided to ask few of my friends who are into makeup stuff like me if they want to purchase too because I want to save on the international postage cost.Let say if you purchase over £50 you will entitle to get foc international delivery.Isn't the deal is too good to resist ?Most important thing Illamasqua is prohibit you from re-sold their makeup items and your account could be suspended if  they know about this activity.

UPDATE:Not even 24 hours I placed my order Illamasqua have gone and add a bunch more lines to the sale. They are also having a further reduction in price.I'm pretty mad about it because I could save up few more pound but I guess I was bit unlucky :(

I bought 2 Hussy Powder Blushes,3 Lover Powder Blushes,Belladonna Intense Lipgloss and  Move Intense Lipgloss for me and my other 2 friends

Originally, Illamasqua powder blush price is £18 each and the intense lipgloss is £14.50 each.I managed to buy the powder blush at £10 (RM55++) each and  the Intense Lipgloss at £7.50 (RM41++) each during sale. Now  after further reduction the powder blush price has decreased to £7.50 and the Intense lipgloss becomes £5 only. You also may enjoy an extra 10% off all sale items using code:SALE10 during checkout.I think its  a pretty good bargain if you plan to buy something from Illamasqua.

Mine (L-R): Hussy and Lover

So I placed the order on 11th Jan 2014 and I received notification from Illmasqua via email informed that they dispatched my goods on 14th Jan 2014.Finally yesterday on 27th January 2014 I received my parcel and I was impressed with their service and fast delivery actually because the items managed to reach me less than 2 weeks.Plus they provide me with a tracking number so that I could follow the journey of my parcel and trace it easily.Hehehe..1 more thing I like about Illamasqua is you can pay using either credit card, debit card or paypal.Easy peesy rite?

L-R:Lover and Hussy
Sorry I could not provide you with the Belladonna and Move Intense Lipglos swatches because they aren't mine. But I can tell you they are both very pretty.I definitely will pick them on the next Illamasqua beauty sale.I do hope you enjoyed this post readers! Did any of you go mad like I did with the Illamasqua Discount? If so, what did you spend your pennies on?

Wearable Wednesday-Rihanna's Grammy Award Inspired Makeup Look!

Salam and hello to all my fabulous cyber friends!Today is the first time in the wearable wednesday's post will be about celebrity inspired makeup.I obviously love Rihanna's 2013 Grammy sexy makeup look.I know I'm a bit 2000 late but still  I decided to mention it here because this type of makeup is timeless and wearable. Her soft smouldering eyes and hot neon red lips, combined with fresh matte complexion without a doubt would suit anyone. I really hope you give this look a try, it is the type of makeup that makes you feel like a bombshell and every woman deserves to feel like that every once in a while!

Please excuse my frizzy hair because i wrongly used shampoo for my hair.

Salam and hello everyone.I decided to do a post featuring my favourite purchases I made last year.Of course there were a lot of other  products I cherished, but these babies are simply the best.

If you are one of my followers on INSTAGRAM you will know how much i love love love this foundation.I would say it is a semi-matte finish and a medium coverage liquid foundation but still you can build it to the full coverage without looking cakey.Fyi, i have combo skin which is oily on t-zone area and slightly dry on cheeks. When you sweat it will blend nicely with your complexion and its very suitable with Malaysia's hot and humid weather. The thing that makes me attach to this foundation because it doesn't oxidize at all so i don't have to worry my face will look like an oompa loompa.Hehehe..Bought it in January 2013 and still has plenty in the bottle.Definitely my HG foundation.Retail price is RM145 for 30 ml.

I  love this drugstore product very much.It is very good in quality, doesn't clog pores or oxidize and even if i sweat i swear it will not look cakey on my face.Lasting hours is between 6-8 hours. At price of RM16.90 this is definitely a budget friendly item.

This is a HG lipstick for me.A very nice vampy shade but still wearable on daily basis. This lipstctik deserves for standing ovation for its qood quality formulation and nice packaging. You can read the complete review and swatches of the lipstick HERE

I can say this is the lipstick i would reach the most when i want something bold to make statement but i don't want to wear red.So fuchsia flash is the answer! It is a very very very long lasting matte lipstick but does not tug at my lips and very comfy to be worn for a long period. You may read the review and swatches HERE

Winter Bloom is sparkly, bronzed-pink, perhaps a bit like Chanel’s Tweed Ambre according to Karlasugar.I absolutely love this blush! Very pigmented, easy to blend, last all day without touch up.Plus the small and compact packaging make it easier for me to carry it around in my handbag.

My first ever cream blush.Love the natural soft rose color when applied.Sadly Max Factor is no longer in Malaysia so you have to purchase online if you plan to get this amazing cream blush.

My everyday mascara. It doesn't give your lashes a lot of volume but the problem automatically settle once i use it with my shu uemura eyelash curler. What i like it doesn't clump at all.

If your an avid watcher of the beauty communites on youtube, you’ll have seen these baby being talked and raved a lot.Shu Uemura's eyelash curler was even mentioned in 2006 movie,The Devil Wears Prada. The curler has been a daily staple, whether I'm mascara-ing or going natural, these exceptional curler open up eyes and give incredible eyelashes.

I never try it on my lashes but it does a very good job for keeps my brows stay in place.Love it!

This is one of my go to shadows when I'm in a rush because it is very easy to apply.Plus bad to the bronze is one of those colors you can use on its own.Great product for the price.

Advanced Night Repair is my favorite serum ever, hands down. I have been using it for a year. It keeps my skin firm, smooth and brighter. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and absorbs quickly.

My on the go face mask.It helps me reduced the pores size and unwanted spots .The white clay is absolutely gentle and soft when applied onto my skin.

I got it when I  purchased the women's weekly magazine. This body butter is easy to apply and absorbs quite soon into the skin, leaving it moisturized and lightly scented with a powdery, chocolatteyy smell that I love!Definitely will repurchase once i finish this.

I can bet you Inglot is one of the best eyeshadows maker.I like to use 464 for my crease because of the natural hue it gives me.The color payoff is very good, texture is buttery and velvety make it easy to apply and blend.I once tried blending it with cream shadows and it goes heavenly smooth. The eyeshadow can last up to 5-6 hours without primer and I do not face any fall out during application.

For me these are the products that really stood out last year.In the meantime I am wishing you a fabulous time and hope to see you on the next post soon. Thanks for reading!

MAC Monday- MAC 'Lady Danger' Lipstick Review & Swatches

Being a makeup junkie, I’m always on the look out for a nice colour lipstick.Another one of my MAC obsessions has materialised into me actually buying another lipstick. At first i want to buy the famous Vegas Volt but for some strange reason i don't know why MAC Malaysia does not carry it here. The SA showed me Morange and Lady Danger, after tried both i fell in love with Lady Danger instantly. You don't need many words to go with Lady Danger it is almost iconic, a bright  orange toned red.I think Lady Danger will suit both those with warmer and cooler skintones well but of course, makeup is all about personal preference.

Lady Danger is a matte finish but  it feels comfortable on and very opaque. The formula is fairly thick and subtly scented with MAC signature vanilla scent. For a nice and sharp application I will line my lips with lip liner first then apply the lipstick to center of lips using a lip brush to establish the shape and blend outward with the lip brush to match the outline. If you just try to get it precise with the actual product, you’ll probably find yourself pushing hard enough to have much less control.

Without Flash

With Flash

-Georgeos Shade.A beautiful bright coral-red colour lipstick.
-Matte Finish.Even it’s a matte texture, it glides smoothly and evenly over lips.
-Highly Pigmented and Very Long Lasting. With only 1 swipe the color lasts up to 4-5 hours even after drinking and eating.
-Reasonable price. For RM68 you will get a nice shade of lipstick.

-Bleeding/Feathering.You will need a lip liner to prevent a zombie mouth!

Where To Buy:MAC stores

When I wear this shade, it brings colour to my face, I feel more confident and certainly rather sexy.Hehe.. I would definitely recommend this shade to you ladies if you are brave enough to rock a show stopper lippie!

Copycat IKEA Swedish Meatballs Recipe

Assalammualaikum and hello!Today i would like to share with you the IKEA Swedish Meatballs recipe.I think most of people who visited IKEA food court have tried this meatballs and like it.It's easy to make, delicious and the gravy is even tastes better than IKEA one.Later, you can make it on your own and serve to your family after read the recipe without having to queue at IKEA. You know how's the situation at the food court during weekend right? Most important you can control the amount of salt you put in your food because last time when i went to IKEA the gravy they made for the meatballs is too salty and its not good for kids or even us an adults. Now let's begin with the recipe:-

Meatballs :
1 Box ready made Meatballs MARINA brand (I was too lazy to make my own meatballs so i just bought at jusco)
or you can do your own meatballs by using this recipe.

1 lb ground beef
2 cloves minced garlic
1 egg
1/2 cup fresh milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons butter
white pepper
1 dash allspice (optional)

2 tbsp butter
2 medium sized fresh tomatoes (Diced)
1 Yellow Onion (Diced)
1 1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup fresh milk
2 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
3 tbsp ketchup
1 chicken stock cube
1 beef stock cube
1 1/2 tbsp white flour
2 tbsp black pepper sauce
1 tbsp ground black pepper
salt and sugar, to taste

For Meatballs:.

1.Fry the onion till golden in a couple of tablespoons of lightly browned butter.
2. Mix all the ingredients until meatball consistency.
3.Flavour with salt, white pepper and (optional) a little finely crushed allspice.
4.Shape the mixture into relatively large, round balls and transfer to a floured cutting board.
5.Fry them slowly in plenty of butter.

1.Melt butter in pan and  fry the onion till golden. Then add flour, whisk till golden brown and flour is cooked.
2.Add diced tomato, oyster sauce, ketchup, sweet soy sauce, black pepper sauce, ground black pepper ,milk, cold water, beef stock cube and chicken stock cube.
3.Season well with salt and sugar.
4.Wait till the gravy becomes slightly warm, put it in a blender or food processor and blend it.
5.Serve the meatballs with the sauce, steam veggies, mashed potato, and lingonberry jam.

I hope you will try this recipe. If you want to save your time just buy the ready made meatballs at supermarket.I love MARINA brand and haven't try any other brand.I think thats enough for today's post.I am wishing you a fabulous time and hope to see you on the next post soon
